Homestead Now Tied to Inflation

Improvement to the Homestead Tax Credit step in the right direction- Lorain County Auditor Craig Snodgrass and I joined Rep Steve Demetriou and State Representative Thomas Hall at a Press Conference in Columbus today to discuss improvements to the Homestead Senior, Permanently Disabled, and Disabled Veteran Tax Credit passed in the budget bill. This is a good first step in Property Tax Reform and getting additional help for those who can least afford the growing property tax burden. More to come on continued efforts, the first increase since 2007 must be followed by additional help soon!
