Auditor’s Office Pet Drawing Contest

Have your child draw and color your pet and email us for a chance to win a local gift card !


Ashtabula County Auditor David Thomas announced another coloring and drawing contest through his office this week to coincide with the Ohio Stay-At-Home Order issued by Governor DeWine.

“A part of our office’s function is to promote Dog Licenses and the importance of keeping our furry friends safe,” shared Auditor Thomas. “During this difficult time where many are sheltered at home, we wanted to offer a fun activity and support local business in the process.”

The Auditor’s Office will be accepting electronic photo submissions of drawings, colorings, or other artwork of their pets until April 6th. Kids 5th grade and younger are encouraged to be creative and have their parents snap a photo of their work. These submissions will be posted up in the Auditor’s Office and online in the hopes of spreading cheer in the upcoming weeks.  

Parents can email photo submissions to or on Facebook at On April 6th the Auditor’s Office will select a winner who will receive a gift card to Burrito Loco of Ohio to enjoy with their family and support local business.

“We’re excited to be having this contest and hope that families enjoy being creative and join in the fun!” stated Auditor Thomas.
