From David’s Desk, Virtual Auditor’s Office Education Sessions
Jefferson- Ashtabula County Auditor David Thomas has announced a new virtual educational series hosted by the Auditor’s Office to inform residents of what resources and community partners are doing during this pandemic to provide for the community.
“Our people are hungry for information. That is why we set up our COVID-19 Auditor’s website and want to provide this series as another opportunity for resources,” shared Auditor David Thomas. Two afternoons a week Auditor Thomas will be hosting a community partner to discuss updates with their organization, how the Auditor’s Office partners with them, and opportunities for supporting residents through their services.
“These are zoom video chats that members of the public can watch and message in questions. If folks miss the 3pm call, we will be uploading the videos to our webpage and social media to be watched later,” stated Thomas.

Interested participants can visit the County Auditor’s Office website at auditor.ashtabulacounty.us for Zoom links and information on virtual participants.
“These opportunities add to the many in person education sessions our office has done as well as the online interviews with staff to share details on Auditor’s Office programs such as Homestead, Destruction of Property values, and Board of Revision,” explained Thomas. “Folks are always encouraged to reach out and contact us with questions or to learn more about our resources too.”
